The Caistor ART & CRAFT FESTIVAL will be held at the Town Hall during the weekend Saturday 3rd to Sunday 4th September from 10am - 4pm
The exhibition features over 300 pictures from more than 70 Lincolnshire
artists in a wide variety of mediums. The well-known printmaker, Val Mager, is exhibiting again, as is Marilyn Oliver with her ceramics. We also welcome many artists who are exhibiting with us for the first time. We hope you will enjoy this year’s exhibition.
The two day event includes a wealth of local crafters and musicians, a popular cafe selling home-prepared produce.
Hunt out in the crafts area Lisa Clarke who carefully repairs ceramics, Teddy bears with attitude, jewellery and lots more. Laurie
and Mark Fox the Crocosmia experts will have a variety of plants for sale.
The SAA (Society for all Artists) are donating a super £100 prize to spend on artists materials.
Once again we have a community art project for children and
their parents to have a go at creating their own art in the ‘sticky area’.
The music this year will be provided by excellent local amateurs; great entertainment for everyone throughout the weekend.
Now a well-established feature on
the arts scene, the Festival continues to offer free admission.
The crafts, the art, the music, homemade refreshments available all day and a licensed bar with a craft ale; this is definitely one to put in the diary.
